April Report

April 9, 2022

Hi POPTiCS! Hisashiburi!

It has been a jam-packed month since the last Tencho Report! We had two new part time marketing associates, Skye and Verdant, who joined us in the first week of March. With their help, we have initiated a lot of changes on our social media platforms and implemented new activities in line with our goal of focusing on building Content, Community, and improving Commerce.

The layouts of our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tiktok accounts have been revamped and we have launched our carrd website as well for easier navigation on our rules and services (popjapan-ph.carrd.co). Pre-orders were also resumed focusing on general anime and otome items. Our Discord Community has now reached almost 300 members and we had more than 15 watch parties since February’s launch.

Next, I would like to talk about our proxy services.

We are very grateful to everyone who have been availing our services before and after the change management. We want to give the best experience to you so we try to provide hassle free ordering, fast processes, and affordable prices.

We became aware that the agent we contracted from December 2021 is not giving us the quality that we want. Shipping takes long and fees are high. The effects of these inefficiencies consequently passed down to customers. In the middle of March, we decided to cancel our agreement and find a new agent to handle our orders. Thankfully, we have finalized talks with the new agent and we will start using their services from April 15 onwards. This new agent charges lower fees, promises faster shipping, and can even offer us net print and in store purchases services (subject to the agent’s availability).

With this change, we have successfully decreased our proxy prices by 10-15%! This will be applied from April 15 onwards. Thank you POPTiCS for your trust in our service and we’re all very excited to give you a better experience soon!

Another good news is that we will be resuming blog posts about Japan as well! We hope that this will make POPTiCS learn more about Japan and be immersed in its culture. Look forward to more vlogs in Facebook and Twitter, Instagram Stories and Reels, Tiktok Videos, and Youtube Shorts in the days to come! Do follow us in our platforms if you still haven’t! And Of course, games, giveaways, and events will still be held every month in our SNS platforms and Discord.

Again, thank you so much for supporting us POPTiCS! We still have a lot of points for improvement but we hope you may look after our growth and let’s share Japanese culture in the Philippines together!
